The MAS 36, 7.5mm caliber rifle was the last bolt action rifle taken into service by any major power. The French distinction had no safety feature, the thought being that it is a battle rifle, load chamber and fire (what do you need a safety for?). It is a simple one-piece drop-in trigger. Available in black Teflon and Stainless Steel. The MAS 36 has two ball adjustments and requires no fitting.
